Aesthetic Mole Removal
A Mole (nevus) is the result of melanocytes clustering together and growing in abnormal numbers. These lesions can be small or grow quite large over years. While anyone that knows how to use a scalpel can cut off a mole this often leaves a scar of some sort which on the face is often not desired. Dr. Green uses several techniques to help remove these lesions aesthetically and in most cases leaving virtually no trace of the original lesion. Most commonly, ellman radiofrequency ablation and laser resurfacing techniques are used to removed these lesions. In rare cases sequential surgical excision is indicated to get the best outcome. In some situations a biopsy may be indicated to rule out any time of pathology such as skin cancer.
